City of Edwardsville Finance Committee Minutes April 30, 2014 5:30 p.m. Present: Aldermen Tom Butts Chairman, Janet Stack, Art Risavy, Rich Hampton, City Treasurer and Dennis W. McCracken, City Clerk. Also Present: Tim Harr, City Administrator, Alderman Craig Louer and Matt Winte. Quorum present, Chairman Butts called the meeting to order at 5:35 p.m. No Public Comments were made. Motion by Stack, seconded by Risavy, to approve Finance Committee minutes from April 9, 2014. Motion Carried with Stack, Risavy and Butts voting aye. Group Health Insurance Fund Report amount of $386,914.59 Old Business: None New Business: Claims in the amount of $563,479.25. Forwarded to Council for approval on May 5, 2014. Motion by Risavy, seconded by Stack, to approve and forward to Council A Resolution Establishing a Budget For The Fiscal Year Beginning The First Tuesday In May, A.D., 2014 and Ending The Monday Preceding The First Tuesday In May, A.D., 2015. Motion Carried with Stack, Risavy and Butts voting aye. Motion by Stack, seconded by Risavy, to approve and forward to Council An Ordinance Amending Ordinance No. 5902-6-13 Making Appropriations For The Fiscal Year Beginning The First Tuesday in May, A.D., 2013 and Ending the Monday Preceding The First Tuesday In May, A.D., 2014. Motion Carried with Stack, Risavy and Butts voting aye. Committee recommends passage on first reading. Motion by Stack, seconded by Risavy, to approve and forward to Council A Resolution Authorizing the Transfer of General Funds to Other Designated Funds of the City of Edwardsville. Motion Carried with Stack, Risavy and Butts voting aye. Rejis Service Agreement was received for information and file. C.J. Schlosser Engagement Letter for annual audit was received for information and file. The next Finance Committee meeting will be announced.
