Finance Committee

City of Edwardsville Finance Committee Minutes May 14, 2014 5:30 p.m. Present: Aldermen Tom Butts Chairman, Jeanette Mallon, Wil Krause and Dennis W. McCracken, City Clerk. Also Present: Tim Harr, City Administrator. Quorum present, Chairman Butts called the meeting to order at 5:35 p.m. No Public Comments were made. Motion by Butts, seconded by Krause, to approve Finance Committee minutes from April 30,, 2014. Motion Carried with Mallon, Krause and Butts voting aye. Group Health Insurance Fund Report amount of $386,914.59 Old Business: 2013-2014 Committee Goals: Comments made regarding Budget approval and publication and water and sewer consolidation. New Business: Claims in the amount of $548,749.52 (Regular) and $36,096.04 (Library) for a total of $584,845.56. Forwarded to Council for approval on May 20, 2014. Chairman Butts explained claim process to new committee members 2014/2015 Finance Committee Goals were discussed. Departments 5 year capital budgets to be developed. Autocad 2014 Infrastructure Suite in the amount of $12,600 was an informational item. The next Finance Committee meeting will meet on May 28, 2014 at 5:30 p.m. in the Governor Edwards Conference Room Committee adjourned at 6:45 p.m. _____________________________ Tom Butts, Chairman
