City of Edwardsville Finance Committee Minutes June 11, 2014 5:30 p.m. Present: Aldermen Tom Butts Chairman, Wil Krause, Jeanette Mallon, Rich Hampton City Treasurer and Dennis W. McCracken, City Clerk. Quorum present, Chairman Butts called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. No Public Comments were made. Motion by Krause, seconded by Mallon, to approve Finance Committee minutes from May 28, 2014. Motion Carried with Krause, Mallon and Butts voting aye. Group Health Insurance Fund Report amount of $402,222.87 Old Business: Motion by Butts, seconded by Krause, to approve and forward to council for second reading an Ordinance Making Appropriations for the Fiscal Year Beginning the First Tuesday in May, A.D., 2014 and Ending the Monday Preceding the First Tuesday in May, A.D., 2015. Motion Carried with Krause, Mallon, and Butts voting aye. New Business: Claims in the amount of $320,178.85 (Regular) and $24,683.96 (Library) for a total of $344,862.81. Forwarded to Council for approval on June 17, 2014. City Treasurer Rich Hampton announced that Property Tax Bills have been distributed. The next Finance Committee meeting will meet on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at 5:30 p.m. in the Governor Edwards Conference Room Committee adjourned at 5:45 p.m. _____________________________ Tom Butts, Chairman
