Finance Committee

City of Edwardsville Finance Committee Minutes July 30, 2014 5:30 p.m. Present: Aldermen Tom Butts Chairman, Wil Krause, Jeanette Mallon, and Dennis W. McCracken, City Clerk/Collector. Also Present: Tim Harr, City Administrator, and Susan Piazza, Business Manager Development with Republic Services (formerly Allied Waste). Quorum present, Chairman Butts called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. No Public Comments were made. Motion by Krause, seconded by Mallon, to approve Finance Committee minutes from July 09, 2014. Motion Carried with Krause, Mallon and Butts voting aye. Group Health Insurance Fund Report amount of $383,377.33 Old Business: None New Business: Claims in the amount of $349,210.45. Forwarded to Council for approval on August 05, 2014. Republic Services (formerly Allied Waste) contract extension was discussed, a Resolution to be forwarded to City Council by Public Services Committee. The next Finance Committee meeting will meet on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at 5:30 p.m. in the Governor Edwards Conference Room Committee adjourned at 5:55 p.m. _____________________________ Tom Butts, Chairman
