City of Edwardsville Finance Committee Minutes October 02, 2014 6:00 p.m. Present: Aldermen Tom Butts Chairman, Will Krause, Mayor Hal Patton, and Dennis W. McCracken, City Clerk. Alderman Mallon and Jeff Berkbigler, City Attorney were in attendance at the Administrative & Community Service Committee and joined the Finance Committee meeting at 6:25 p.m. Quorum present, Chairman Butts called the meeting to order at 6:10 p.m. No Public Comments were made. Motion by Butts, seconded by Krause, to approve Finance Committee minutes from September 10, 2014. Motion Carried with Butts and Krause voting aye. Group Health Insurance Fund Report amount of $396,950.19 Old Business: None New Business: Claims in the amount of $991,320.69. Forwarded to Council for approval on October 07, 2014. Motion by Krause, seconded by Butts, to recommend forwarding The Ordinance Establishing a new SIUE Public Safety Personnel and Equipment Fund to Administrative & Community Service Committee. Motion Carried with Krause and Butts voting aye. The next Finance Committee meeting will meet on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 5:30 p.m. in the Governor Edwards Conference Room.
