Public Comment None New Business Determining tax levy recommendation to the city Whiteford presented a draft tax levy recommendation letter and asked for any improvements or corrections. Anderson stated that the city is required to raise the levy based on the board’s recommendation and that should be based on the most actuarially accepted calculation. McCracken stated that the board would have a better chance to get the GASB 67, 68 recommended number without mentioning the L&A IDOI amount. Hampton suggested changing the word “accurate” in the next to last paragraph to “actuarially accepted”. The final decision was to provide all of the information to the city and include the L&A estimated IDOI amount. Hampton made a motion to accept the pension levy recommendation letter as corrected. Anderson provided the second. Whiteford asked for a roll call vote: Whiteford: Aye Hampton: Aye Schrage: Aye Anderson: Aye McCracken: Aye The motion passed. Whiteford presented that he does not feel he has the expertise in writing the letter and appreciated the assistance from Hampton and McCracken. Adjournment Anderson made a motion to adjourn. Hampton provided the second. Whiteford called for a vote. All members voted aye. The motion passed.
