Edwardsville Foreign Fire Insurance Board Special Meeting Meeting Minutes – Nov 1st, 2019 Meeting was called to order at 1208 by Chairman Wilfong. Members present were Heuchert, Sweetman, Wilfong and Welle. Reiter and Burnley absent. No visitors present. Reading of previous meeting minutes waived. Reading of treasurer’s report waived. Special Request for Expenditure - Request from Sweetman to provide funds to send truck committee members to final truck inspection. City has allotted funds to send 2 members. Request is for funds to send the balance of committee members that are available to make the trip. Cost for flight is $200/ea. Hotel rooms would be $100/ea. Funds requested NTE $1500. Motion by Heuchert, 2nd by Morgan to approve. Discussion. Motion approved. Old Business - No Old Business New Business - Morgan is looking for quotes for new recliners for station 1 to be proposed at the next regular meeting. - Four people, including current members, have submitted their names to be placed on the ballot for this year’s election. Elections will be conducted electronically next week. - Heuchert is in the process of uploading previous minutes to the city website as requested at the previous meeting.
