CALL TO ORDER II. ROLL CALL III. DESIGN REVIEW a. COA #1 Location: 1301 N. Main Street - Downtown Historic District Applicant: Karen Zimmerman - owner Project: 1.) Door restored on the south side of building. A window will be bricked in. This window was added after 1819. These changes are an interpretation of based on the brick work around the building on the south side and the window front on the south side being inconsistent with the original wood frame windows in the front of the building. 2.) Removal of gable addition. This gable has no historical significance. 3.) The exposed (west side – after the removal of the gable addition) exterior will be filled in with brick and the chimney restored. A window will be reinstalled. The home owner has found that the existing door to the gable addition, the wood frame work is inconsistent with the other door, and logical would have been a window to provide cross ventilation. IV.
