Schneck A meeting of the Plan Commission's Ordinance Sub-Committee was held on Thursday, July 6, 2017, and the following proposed ordinance amendment was discussed: A. An amendment to the Land Development Code, Division 3 Stormwater Control Ryan Zwijack gave staff’s report on the proposed amendment to the Land Development Code, Division 3 Stormwater Control. He tried to simplify it as much as possible. There has been some confusion on how this should be addressed or interpreted. This proposal falls in line with IDOT Drainage Manual. Greg Coffey requested the following changes to the language of the ordinance: 1. Third paragraph: “WHEREAS, the corporate authorities deem it to be in the best interests of the community to amend Section 704.2 of the Land Development Code in order to more accurately calculate the pre and post development stormwater runoff; and” Remove “in order to more accurately” and replace it with “to”. 2. Section 2. AMENDMENT. “The Codified Ordinances of the City of Edwardsville, Appendix A – Land Development Code, Division 3 Stormwater Control, Section 704.2 Antecendent Moisture is hereby amend as follows:” Remove “amended as follows” and replace with “deleted and replaced with the following”. No further discussion. Amendment forwarded to the Plan Commission without a recommendation for lack of quorum.
