1 PLAN COMMISSION February 19, 2020 7:00PM M~N}yTES Approved: Date: ____ _____ '3 / I f2.o__;'-- The regularly scheduled meeting of the Edwardsville Plan Commission was held at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, located at 118 Hillsboro Avenue in Edwardsville, Illinois. I. ROLL CALL: Present Absent G. Coffey J. McDole M. Boline M. Pierceall, Designated Alternate J. Mullane, Chairman D. Gerber B. Schlueter, Vice Chairman K. West B. Pepper C. Wencewicz C. Porter, Staff C. Miller, Staff L. Schneck, Staff II. PUBLIC COMMENT No public comments received. III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES A. Minutes of the regular meeting for January 20, 2020. MOTION : Mr. Pierceall. Motion to approve the minutes of January 22, 2020. SECONDED: Mr. Gerber. All Ayes. Minutes of the January 20, 2020 meeting hereby approved. IV. PUBLIC HEARINGS A. Case 2020-07: 115 & 119 S. Main Street Alley Vacation \ C ity of Edwardsville Staff gave their report on the proposed alley vacation. Pictures of the area to be vacated were displayed. The northern portion of the a lley was previously vacated on February 15, 2000. This area being vacated has ex isting utility easements which will be reserved. The board as ked for varificatio n that the property will be split evenly with the adjoining property owners and the City wi ll not rece ive compensation for this property. Staff agreed and reitereated the utility easements will be reserved which will beretlected that in the wording in the ordinance. The board wanted to make sure the property owners affected were notified. Staff stated no one has been in contact with the City asking about this alley vacation. No o ne present to speak in favor of the vacation. No one present to speak agai nst the vacation. 2 MOTION: Mr. Coffey. Move for approval of the vacation as presented without knowing precisely where it goes but only what is before us. SECONDED: Pierceall. VOICE ROLL CALL: 7 Ayes, 0 Nays, 0 Abstains. V.
