collection and displayed in the library/HH. Completed drug and alcohol

Adult Services: June was a lively month with Libtech attempts to change
our public internet service and the computer/printing labs temporarily closing
several times. New Reference Specialist, Zoe Rios is doing well. Summer
Reading Program officially began on 6/24. Sarita’s Poetry event was
accessible and fun for everyone, including the 3 teens that participated.

June started with the last of the state testing reservations for K-12, and a graduation for pre-K kids. We
cosponsored a new musical "petting zoo" with the CWU violin club offering a chance for kids (or adults) to
experiment and try different instruments. We lent out furnishings to other COE departments for Touch-A-
Truck and will offer staffing support for the 2026 SRP Kickoff party. This will be the last month of the
Ellensburg Big Band using the space weekly on Monday nights due to the original usage of the space
changing from a prep for a Big Band Festival in 2025/26 to a free practice space until 10 pm. The original
agreement had an ending once the festival occurred.
