Unfinished Business
Code Changes.
• The changes to make sure Tree preservation easement vacations go
to the Urban Forestry Advisory Board were passed on July 15th.
• The request to change code so that all zones in HHOD have
increased to 5% seems to be going smoothly.
• Significant tree definition in chapter 151 is going to go smoothly, too.
• Tree Preservation Easement disturbance and Maintenance is going
smoothly.
• The dripline is getting hung up a bit, and we are working on
smoothing that out.

Emerald Ash Borer - Signs and treatments
There is work creating signs for several parks.
We have three parks that we will try to start treatment for ASAP. Greathouse
Park, Walker, and Underwood Parks.
We are planning to bulk bid the treatments and start in the spring.
We will also subcontract some of the tree removal work for this project.
