Reports and Presentations Unfinished Business Spring Planting Projects- Sang Avenue, Installed, 107 St. James Detention Pond, 20 Installed Cottages at Old Wire, 20 Installed Happy Hollow Elementary is being installed right now, 25 Covington Parks, 34 Ttrees Installed Overall, the City planted 391 new trees this spring. 639 understory or replacement trees were also planted. Gave away 350 Trees. To meet our 1850 goal, we need to plant another 546 new trees. Emerald Ash Borer Treatments • We have 111 trees we are treating this spring. I am still adding trees. • I have the north/south greenway to complete, Lake Fayetteville, Kessler, Centennial and Lake Sequoyah to inventory. • We will have a social media post on this topic City of Fayetteville, Arkansas Page 2 Urban Forestry Advisory Board June 3, 2026 New Business Lewis Auto Park Tree Preservation Easement Vacation A request to vacate 3,320 sf of a 4,969 sf tree preservation easement. Announcements Fayetteville Community Foresters I am teaching Tree Care and Maintenance on June 9th and 13th. Devin Spears has left UFAB. He no longer lives in Fayetteville. Community members have the opportunity to address the board at a designated time during the meeting. Citizens may propose items to be included in the board's agenda.
