GENEVA CITY COUNCIL MEETING
JUNE 16, 2014
CALL TO ORDER
The June 16, 2014 meeting of the Geneva City Council was called to order at 7:09 p.m.
in the Council Chambers of City Hall by Mayor Pro Tem Dean Kilburg, Mayor Kevin
Burns being absent. Aldermen present: Chuck Brown, Mike Bruno, Don Cummings,
Dorothy Flanagan, Dean Kilburg, Craig Maladra, Richard Marks, Mary Seno, Tom
Simonian, Ron Singer. Aldermen absent: None. Also attending: City Atty. Charles
Radovich, City Administrator Mary McKittrick, Asst. City Administrator/Dir. of
Administrative Services Stephanie Dawkins, Public Works Director Dan Dinges, Police
Chief Steve Mexin.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
OMNIBUS AGENDA
All items listed on the Omnibus Agenda are considered to be routine by the Council and
will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion on these items unless
a Council member or citizen so requests in which event the item will be removed from
the Omnibus (Consent) Agenda and considered in its normal sequence on the Agenda.

execution of labor agreement with InTren in the amount of $23,154 for electric line

NEW BUSINESS
TV Coverage of Swedish Days Start
Mayor Pro Tem Kilburg announced that WLS-TV will be in Geneva tomorrow at 5:25
a.m. for the launching of Swedish Days. He encouraged all to gather on the Court House
lawn for the event.
Thank You to Public Works Dir. Dan Dinges for his Service
Mayor Pro Tem Kilburg noted that Public Works Dir. Dan Dinges will be leaving his
position with the City. On behalf of the City Council, Mayor Pro Tem Kilburg thanked
Dir. Dinges for his service to the community and wished him well in his new endeavors.
Dir. Dinges received a round of applause.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, moved by Ald. Marks, seconded by Ald. Seno to adjourn
the Geneva City Council meeting. Carried by voice vote.
The meeting adjourned at 7:14 p.m.
