GENEVA CITY COUNCIL MEETING MAY 9, 2016 (Special Meeting) CALL TO ORDER The May 9, 2016 special meeting of the Geneva City Council was called to order at 9:48 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall by Mayor Kevin Burns. Aldermen present: Mike Bruno, Tara Burghart, Don Cummings, Dean Kilburg, Craig Maladra, Richard Marks, Jim Radecki, Mary Seno, Tom Simonian, Ron Singer. Aldermen absent: None. Also attending: City Administrator Mary McKittrick, Asst. City Administrator/Dir. of Administrative Services Stephanie Dawkins, Deputy Fire Chief Mark Einwich, Fire Battalion Chief Kevin Forest. ITEMS OF BUSINESS Approve Resolution 2016-29 Approving a Four (4)-Year Collective Bargaining Agreement Between the City of Geneva and the Geneva Professional Firefighters Association, Local 4287 (IAFF) Moved by Ald. Marks, seconded by Ald. Cummings to approve Res. 2016-29 approving a four-year collective bargaining agreement between the City of Geneva and the Geneva Professional Firefighters Association, Local 4287. Roll call: AYES: 10 (Ald. Bruno, Burghart, Cummings, Kilburg, Maladra, Marks, Radecki, Seno, Simonian, Singer) NAYS: 0 MOTION CARRIED Waive Fee for Special Council Meeting Moved by Ald. Marks, seconded by Ald. Mike Bruno that the fee for the special Council meeting be waived. Roll call: AYES: 10 (Ald. Bruno, Burghart, Cummings, Kilburg, Maladra, Marks, Radecki, Seno, Simonian, Singer) NAYS: 0 MOTION CARRIED ADJOURNMENT There being no further business, moved by Ald. Simonian, seconded by Ald.
