Executive Summary: At the February 17, 2015 Special COW Meeting, the City Council directed staff to modify the road taper from Fabyan Parkway to Forest View by shifting this taper as far north as possible. This change was to accommodate requests from the industrial/commercial property owners along the west side of Batavia Avenue located south of Forest View Drive. Following that direction, staff received a request from the Hackendahl Property to include this property within the three lane cross section to support possible development of this site. Attached for your consideration is the revision that reflects this request. Staff supports this request as it complies with the City Council direction to include the residential properties within the road diet and retain the existing four lane cross section for the industrial/commercial properties along Batavia Avenue. SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective from and after its passage as in accordance with law.
