Board of Fire and Police Commission City of Geneva 22 South First Street Geneva, IL 60134 Minutes of the February 5, 2013 Meeting Conference Room – Geneva Police Department Commissioners in Attendance: Jim Kautz, Arnold Northrup and Suanne Tompkinson. Others in Attendance: None. Meeting was called to order at 7:10 p.m. by Commissioner Kautz. A) APPROVAL OF MINUTES Motion: A motion was made by Commissioner Tompkinson that the minutes from the January 9, 2013 meeting be approved as presented. Seconded by Commissioner Kautz. All Aye, motion passed. B) PUBLIC COMMENTARY - None C) COMMUNICATIONS – None D) UNFINISHED BUSINESS  The Commission reviewed the final draft of the Procedural Manual. Motion: A motion was made by Commissioner Kautz that the Procedural Manual for the Rules and Regulations of the Commission be accepted as presented. Seconded by Commissioner Tompkinson. All Aye, motion passed.  The review of interview questions for Police Sergeant promotions was tabled until next meeting. E) NEW BUSINESS Commissioner Kautz reviewed the Firefighter Recruiting Schedule with the Commission. The current list expires November 15, 2013. The schedule outlines a list of tasks with completion dates that serves to guide the Commission as it prepares to obtain candidates for a new list. The schedule dates will be reviewed with Chief Olson. F) ADJOURNMENT Motion: A motion was made by Commissioner Tompkinson that the meeting be adjourned. Second by Commissioner Kautz. All Aye.
