Board of Fire and Police Commission City of Geneva 22 South First Street Geneva, IL 60134 Minutes of the May 21, 2013 Meeting Conference Room – Geneva Fire Department ____________________________________________________________ Commissioners in Attendance: Arnold Northrup, Brad Koontz and Suanne Tompkinson. Others in Attendance – None. Meeting was called to order at 7:10pm by Commissioner Northrup. A) APPROVAL OF MINUTES Motion: A motion was made by Commissioner Tompkinson that the minutes from the May 21, 2013 meeting be approved as presented. Seconded by Commissioner Koontz. All Aye. B) PUBLIC COMMENTARY – None C) COMMUNICATIONS – None D) UNFINISHED BUSINESS  The Board reviewed the Fire Fighters exam schedule, regarding the Nov. 15th, 2013 list expiration. All tasks are up to date. At our next meeting, the Commissioners will update the advertisement and submit a copy to Jeanne Fornari, to release the Ad onto the website and to a local newspaper. Commissioner Northrup will confirm with Jen Reimer at the Fire Department that the application packets are being prepared. E) NEW BUSINESS A brief discussion took place regarding the update of the oral interview questions for the Fire Department. Each Commissioner will review the current questions, and present suggestions at our next meeting, to be used for future interviews. F) ADJOURNMENT Motion: A motion was made by Arnold Northrup that the meeting be adjourned. Seconded by Commissioner Tompkinson. All Aye.
