Call to Order – Meeting called to order by Brault, Cassin - second at 6:02pm 2. Roll Call – Backus, Brault, Cassin, Clements, Janis, Juby, Merrill, Sarangabany, Main. Also present Stephanie Dawkins Absent – None 3. Amendment to the agenda – None 4. Approval of Submitted Reports: a. Approval of Minutes: 1st: Cassin; 2nd: Clements b. Approval of Budget: 1st: Cassin; 2nd: Backus 5. Sub-committees: a. ICEC/Backus i. Committee created new logo and artwork for standalone banners ii. Actively looking at cultural and educational exchange with student exchange program in the middle school system iii. No update on Swedish liaison iv. Book and film discussion b. NRC i. Partnering with Tri-Cities for the ash borer program ii. More discussion on Wine, Cheese and Trees iii. Next two meetings will be held at Peck farm c. Student Government i. Designing a new t-shirt; navy blue in color ii. Twitter up and running: ‘GSStudGov’ iii. Agenda set for next meeting 6. Additional Business - a. Forward thinking to preparation for Town Hall meeting on 2017 Visions i. Main to make large scale matrix of visions and goals with status of each section for future track keeping ii. Invite the Aldermen, two at a time, to attend a SPAC meeting and observe the dedication involved and how visions are prioritized iii. Add to voters guide and link to visions on SPAC page iv. Each meeting starting in February, two goals for discussion v. In August meeting: highlight what has been completed vi. Each SPAC member will take one to two aldermen, send introductory email and invite aldermen to coffee for a face-to-face meeting. Afterward set up touch base frequently building a repertoire.
