Call To Order: Meeting was called to order at 3:30 PM by Commissioner
Chair Taylor.
Public Comments: None
Approval of Minutes: Regular meeting minutes, October 14, 2025, approved as
written by common consent.
Executive Session Minutes, October 14, 2025, approved
with correction as written by common consent.
Old Business: Commissioner Borello moved to approve the new hire police officer
eligibility list. 3 Yeas, 0 Nays. Motion passed.
Established new officer interview dates - Monday, February 2, Tuesday,
February 3 and Wednesday, February 18, 2026.
New Business: Reviewed a new IOS Safety Testing program. Commissioner Meyers
moved acceptance of the IOS Safety Testing program for a 3 year period.
3 Yeas, 0 Nays. Motion passed.
The next regular meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 3:30PM in the Glen
Ellyn Police Department Community Room.
Commissioner Borello moved to adjourn the meeting at 5:00PM. 3 Yeas; 0 Nays. Motion
carried. Meeting adjourned.

Motion to Enter Executive Session: At 9:05 AM, Commissioner Meyers motioned to go into
Executive Session for the purpose of discussion, pursuant to Section 2c(1) of the Open
Meetings Act, the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or
dismissal of specific employees. 3 Yeas; 0 Nays. Motion carried.
Commissioner Borello moved to go back into Open Session at 4:00 PM.
New Business: Discussion and motion by Commissioner Meyers to reinstate Sam Carius
as a Glen Ellyn Police Officer. 3 Yeas; 0 Nays. Motion carried.
Commissioner Taylor moved to not move candidate #2055 forward in the
hiring process. 3 Yeas; 0 Nays. Motion carried.
Commissioner Meyers moved to not move candidate #2120 forward in
the hiring process. 2 Yeas; 1 Nay. Motion carried.
Commissioner Borello moved to not move candidate #2048 forward in
the hiring process. 3 Yeas; 0 Nays. Motion carried.
Commissioner Taylor moved to move candidate #2091 forward in the

Room.
