Mural Ordinance and Program – Community Meeting and Program Strategy 1. Motion approving the Director of Library, Arts & Culture to enter into a Professional Services Agreement in an amount not to exceed $5,050 from the 2023-2024 Work Plan — with Beautify Earth, a creative services consultant, to (1) review the draft mural ordinance and policies and procedures and provide feedback, (2) host a community meeting on the mural ordinance, and (3) work with GLAC staff and Arts and Culture Commission to define strategy and best approaches for mural program processes and execution. b. Adams Hill Arts Festival - Programming and Sponsorship Opportunity 1. Motion approving (1) the funding of an event management company and artist stipends associated with the Adams Hill Arts Festival, and (2) the sponsorship of the Adams Hill Arts Festival, in an amount not to exceed $3,000 from the 2023-2024 Work Plan. c. Glendale International Film Festival - Programming and Sponsorship Opportunity 1. Motion approving (1) the funding of a proposal by Glendale Arts to provide arts programming associated with the Glendale International Film Festival, and (2) the sponsorship of the Glendale International Film Festival, in an amount not to exceed $5,000 from the 2023-2024 Work Plan. d. Ex-Officio Student Non-Voting Member of the Arts and Culture Commission – Selection Committee 1. Motion selecting two Commission members to serve on an ad hoc Ex-Officio Student Non-Voting Member Selection Committee (Selection Committee), to conduct the screening and selection of qualified candidates for interviews. 7.
