In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990, auxiliary hearing aids, sign
language translation, and Braille transcripts are available upon request. Assisted listening devices
are available same-day upon request. At least 48 hours (or two business days) notice is required for
requests regarding sign language translation and Braille transcription services. All documents related
to open session items on this agenda that are received less than 72 hours prior to this meeting, and
are public records, will be available for review in the Community Services & Parks Administration
Office, 613 E. Broadway, Room 120, Glendale, CA 91206.
Translation services are provided for meetings through the use of bilingual staff for speakers who wish
to utilize the service as available. Speakers should state their request by contacting the Community
Services & Parks Administration Office at (818) 548-2782, at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled
meeting. Please specify the language for which you require translation. The exclusive use of City
provided interpreters is not required and persons are welcome to use their own interpreter or speak
in their native language.

To help slow the transmission of COVID-19, and protect the health and safety of the community, City
Council, as well as Board & Commission meetings, will continue to be closed to the public for in-person
attendance.
The public is encouraged to watch and participate from the safety of their homes to practice social

A SPECIAL MEETING of the CDBG Advisory Committee is hereby called to meet at 8:00 AM
on March 4, 2022, via teleconference to consider the following item of business, to wit:

2022 special meeting of the CDBG Advisory Committee was posted on or before
Thursday, March 3, 2022, on the Bulletin Board outside City Hall.

a. 2020 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Coronavirus Aid, Relief and

c. Review of Financial Ratios for community agencies applying for FY 2022-2023

4. ACTION ITEMS
a. Reprogramming returned FY 2021-2022 LA Troupe Fire/Burn Prevention Education

1. Motion providing direction to staff on reprogramming $10,299 in returned FY 2021-2022
CDBG Public Social Services funds from Children’s Burn Foundation, LA Troupe

b. Funding Recommendations for FY 2022-2023 Public Social Services
1. Conduct interviews with social services applicants; deliberate and make funding
recommendations.
c. Approving a CDBG Contingency Funding Plan
1. Motion providing direction to staff on a CDBG Contingency Funding Plan for Public
Social Services.

Discussion is limited to items not a part of this agenda. Each speaker is allowed five (5)
minutes. The Commission may question the speaker, but there will be no debate or decision.
