Motion to accept grant funds in the amount of $389,966 and authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement with the State of California – Department of California Highway Patrol for the award of funds under the California Highway Patrol (CHP), Cannabis Tax Fund Law Enforcement Grant Program e. Resolution dispensing with competitive bidding and authorizing the City Manager, or his designee, to extend the Beeline fixed-route agreement for a one-year period for a not to exceed the amount of $12,234,395 and to amend the Dial-A-Ride service operation and maintenance agreement with MV Transportation, Inc. for a one-year period for a not to exceed amount of $1,025,578, for a total amount of $13,259,973 2. Resolution dispensing with competitive bidding and authorizing the City Manager, or his designee, to execute a contract with MV Transportation, Inc. for the operation and maintenance of the City’s Beeline fixed-route and Dial-A-Ride transit services in a not to exceed amount of $76,506,800 for a six-year term, with two, two-year extension options; if the 1st option to extend is exercised, the amount will not exceed $106,245,519 for a total eight-year term; and, if the 2nd option to extend is exercised, the amount will not exceed $137,828,127 for a total ten-year term b.
