Motion to Approve a contract amendment and accept additional funds from the State of California, Department of Industrial Relations, Division of Apprenticeship Standards, State Apprenticeship Expansion, Equity, and Innovation Grant (SAEEI) in the amount of $1,408,000 from May 1, 2023 to June 30, 2025 to continue the expansion of Early Care & Education Registered Apprenticeship program for a grant total amount of $2,000,000, as approved and recommended by the Verdugo Workforce Development Board; Approve the additional award of SAEEI grant funds to the ECEPTS program, a project of The Tides Center, in the amount of $1,267,200 from May 1, 2023 to June 30, 2025, for a total contract amount of $1,800,000 as approved and recommended by the Verdugo Workforce Development Board; and Authorize the City Manager, or a TYPED 12/7/2023 5:39:02 PM 12 12 23 2 CC designee, to execute all agreements, certifications, and documents necessary to accept and implement the funding 2. Community Services and Parks, re: Amendment Twelve for FY 2023-2024 Los Angeles County Aging and Disabilities Department, California Department of Aging (CDA), American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding allocation of $20,000 for Elderly Nutrition Program (ENP) 1. Motion to accept $20,000 in CDA ARPA funding from Los Angeles County Aging and Disabilities Department for the FY 2023-2024 Elderly Nutrition Program; and authorize the City Manager or a designee to execute Amendment Twelve to the ENP202106 Subaward period July 2020 – June 2024 to accept and implement funding 2.
