Approval of the minutes of the regular Commission Meeting held on August 14, 2023 and the Special Commission Meeting held on September 11, 2023 6. ACTION ITEMS a. Updates and Request for Funding of the “Glendale Women Today” event for the launch of the Report on the Status of Women in Glendale 2022-2023 1. Motion to approve up to $800 to cover the costs associated with hosting of the “Glendale Women Today” event b. Consideration of Event in Recognition of International Women's Day 1. Motion to Appoint an Ad Hoc Committee to Plan an Event in March 2024 for International Women's Day and set a not-to-exceed amount for the cost of the event c. Request for the consideration of a yearly operating budget for the Commission on the Status of Women, not to exceed $5000, and request for additional funds for the translation costs associated with the 2022-2023 Report on the Status of Women in Glendale 1. Motion to allocate an amount not-to-exceed $5,000 for the 2023-2024 fiscal year for the operating budget of the Commission on the Status of Women; for use and furtherance of all approved Commission programs and initiatives, including outreach and all logistical expenses 2.
