AGENDA DESIGN REVIEW BOARD COUNCIL CHAMBERS 613 E. Broadway, 2nd Floor Glendale, CA 91206 Meetings are broadcast live on Glendale TV, viewable on Spectrum Cable, channel 6, and AT&T U- verse, channel 99. Meetings are also streamed live in high definition (HD) on the city's webpage, glendaleca.gov/live, on YouTube.com/myglendale, and on Apple TV, Roku, and Amazon Fire devices using a free app called Screenweave and choosing “Glendale TV” from the menu. REPORTS REGARDING POSTING OF AGENDA The Agenda for the January 26, 2023 Regular Meeting of the Glendale Design Review Board was posted on the City’s website on Thursday, January 19, 2023, and on the Bulletin Board outside City Hall on Monday, January 23, 2023. 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1 a. Approval of Design Review Board Minutes from January 12, 2023 4. ELECTION OF NEW CHAIRPERSON 5. ORAL COMMUNICATION Discussion is limited to items not a part of this agenda. ITEM: 1766 Cielito Drive DRB Case No. PDR2113521-B (CASE TO BE CONTINUED TO THE FEBRUARY 9, 2023 DRB MEETING) PROJECT DESCRIPTION The applicant is proposing to demolish the existing 1-story, 3,246 square-foot (SF) single- family dwelling with attached, 2-car garage (originally built in 1961) and to construct a new 2-story, 4,855 SF single-family dwelling with an attached, subterranean, 3-car garage on a 23,620 SF double-frontage lot located in the R1R (FAR District II) Zone. The new house also features an outdoor deck and new swimming pool. This is a second submittal for Final Review; on May 26, 2022, the DRB voted to “Return for Redesign”. ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION The project is exempt from CEQA review as a Class 3 “New Construction or Conversion of Small Structures” exemption, pursuant to Section 15303 of the State CEQA Guidelines, because the project involves the demolition and construction of a single-family dwelling. b. ITEM: 2900 Greenwich Road DRB Case No. 2211198 PROJECT DESCRIPTION To construct a new three-story, 3,489 square-foot single-family residence with an attached two-car garage on a 16,568 square-foot lot in the R1R, District II zone. The site is currently vacant. ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION The project is exempt from CEQA review as a Class 3 “New Construction or Conversion of Small Structures” exemption, pursuant to Section 15303 of the State CEQA Guidelines, because the project involves the construction of a single-family dwelling. 8.
