AGENDA HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION COUNCIL CHAMBERS 613 E. Broadway, 2nd Floor Glendale, CA 91206 Meetings are broadcast live on Glendale TV, viewable on Spectrum Cable, channel 6, and AT&T U- verse, channel 99. Meetings are also streamed live in high definition (HD) on the city's webpage, glendaleca.gov/live, on YouTube.com/myglendale, and on Apple TV, Roku, and Amazon Fire devices using a free app called Screenweave and choosing “Glendale TV” from the menu. APPROVAL OF MINUTES a. Approval of Historic Preservation Commission Minutes from November 19, 2021, January 20, 2022, and March 17, 2022 1 4. ORAL COMMUNICATION Discussion is limited to items not a part of this agenda. Each speaker is limited to 5 minutes. ITEM: 804 W. Kenneth Road (Stanford House, GR No. 91): Review of Proposed Circular Driveway, Front Walkway, and Lampposts PHPCRDR 2204441 PROJECT DESCRIPTION Construction of a new concrete driveway at the front of the house linking the two existing driveways, which will be repaved; installation of related landscaping; and construction of a new front walkway and two stucco-clad lampposts not to exceed five-feet in height. ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION The project is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under a Class 31 exemption because it consists of rehabilitation work that is consistent with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation. b. ITEM: 849 Cavanagh Road: Glendale Register Nomination and Mills Act Application PMA2205324 PROJECT DESCRIPTION Consideration of Glendale Register Nomination and Mills Act Application for 849 Cavanagh Road ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION Glendale Register designations and Mills Act contracts are exempt from CEQA review as a Class 8 “Actions by Regulatory Agencies for Protection of the Environment” exemption pursuant to Section 15308 of the State CEQA Guidelines because they involve the designation and protection of historic resources. 8.
