AGENDA SPECIAL MEETING: GLENDALE CITY COUNCIL COUNCIL CHAMBERS 613 E. Broadway, 2nd Floor Glendale, CA 91206 Meetings are broadcast live on Glendale TV, viewable on Spectrum Cable, channel 6, and AT&T U- verse, channel 99. Meetings are also streamed live in high definition (HD) on the city's webpage, glendaleca.gov/live, on YouTube.com/myglendale, and on Apple TV, Roku, and Amazon Fire devices using a free app called Screenweave and choosing “Glendale TV” from the menu. Broadway, 2nd Floor, Glendale, CA 91206 to consider the following item(s) of business, to wit; 1. Police Department, re: Acceptance of grant funding from the United States Department of Homeland Security 2022 Urban Area Security Initiatives (UASI) Grant Program a. Resolution to accept grant funds in the amount of $1,246,990 and authorize the City Manager, or a designee, to execute an agreement with the City of Los Angeles for the award of funds under the FY22 UASI grant program b. Resolution to dispense with competitive bidding and authorizing the City Manager or a designee to execute an agreement with Flock Safety for the procurement of Automatic License Plate Reader Equipment in an amount not to exceed $157,000 c. Resolution to dispense with competitive bidding and authorizing the City Manager or a designee to execute necessary software agreements with Grayshift LLC to provide software licenses and upgrades for the life of the software, subject to Police Department budget availability d. Resolution to appropriate $1,246,990 from the Urban Area Security Initiatives (UASI) Grant Program grant revenue 2. Management Services, re: Sustainability Commission 2023 Work Plan a. Motion for the City Council to approve the 2023 Sustainability Commission Work Plan 3. Fire Department, re: Fire Department Uniform Purchasing – Galls Uniforms a.
