Public Comment on Agenda Items IV. Action Items 1. DASH 2023-2026 Contract with ITP • Erin Evenhouse summarizes the action item: DASH 2023-2026 Contract with ITP • Commissioner Parkes asks how the amendment process would work. • Josh Naramore responds that we could either do a new term or make an amendment. Primarily focused on changing the dollar amount for making sure things would be able to operate in year 3. V. Discussions 1. September 2023 Project Updates • Commissioner Wells says that the “OnTheGoGR” social media channels are doing a good job of mixing information with humor and asks for more details on how the social media effort is going. Wells also asks how micro mobility is doing. • Josh Naramore responds that Max Gilles will provide an update on social media next month. • Trent Cerra provides an update on micro mobility, stating that summer ridership has been going very well and will include ridership data in the next month’s project update. • Commissioner Monoyios comments that when the streetlights stopped working and everything was being treated as a four way stop, he wondered if such an event was valuable to staff to see everyone being more cautious. • Naramore responds that since it was a short duration there were not any crashes reported during the outage. • Commissioner Monoyios also announces that a significant public engagement phase on the Transit Master Plan will being in the next few weeks and he will provide an update on the plan at the next Mobile GR Commission meeting.
