Discussion Items 1. Lake Michigan Credit Union - Support Letter Discussion The LMCU representative was not able to make today’s meeting. There is great interest in having a bank within the corridor. The group discussed there not being any CIA criteria or community benefit agreement, but a financial institution has every right to buy land and build a branch. Board members will reach out to their respective bank relationships and welcome them to future board meetings if there is interest in seeking letters of support for a new branch building. 2. Promotions and Marketing Committee Discussion Frances Dalton presented the draft template for such a committee. There was discussion about the workload of being on this committee. The group also talked about 3rd party entities/organizations/individuals that could have the bandwith of performing these functions. VI. Reports 1.
