Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 1:21 PM by Chair Senita Lenear II. Public Comment on Agenda Items None. III. Minutes Approval 1. Approval of Minutes from March 15, 2023 Helen Harp noted the agenda listed her as Chair. No comments or corrections to the minutes were noted. Motion to accept the minutes from March 15, 2023. Building Bridges Landscaping Maintenance Contract Renewal Kelsey Liebenow noted that Building Bridges will provide a calendar of clean-ups. Motion to approve the Landscaping Maintenance Contract in a not to exceed amount of $54,415.00. Motion to approve the 61st District Court Maintenance Contract Agreement in a not to exceed amount of $14,000. One Peace Event Sponsorship Request Ms. Liebenow spoke of previous years of sponsoring this event. Matthew Duncan said they are still working to contact various businesses and neighbor associations. Motion to approve the request for a not to exceed amount of $3,000 in sponsorship. Eastern Avenue (Burton to Ardmore) Road Construction Project Updates City employees Juan Torres, Breese Stam and Ariana Jeske presented updates on the Eastern Avenue Road Construction Project. The Board urged the city to talk directly to the business owners on this block. The City is updating cost estimates and Mr. Torres will get their updated slideshow to Ms. Liebenow. VI. Discussion Items 1. Southtown CIA Tax Increment Financing & Development Plan Amendment Discussion was tabled to the June 5th meeting. VII. Reports 1. Corridor Manager and Committee Updates Ms. Liebenow reminded the group about the Small Business Fair on May 4th. • Ms. Liebenow will create calendar invites for any event the CIA sponsors. VIII. Other Business Bill DeJong noted a few corridor trash cans are looking beat-up. • Any trash cans that need repair email location to Ms. Liebenow. IX. Public Comment Mr. Duncan really liked the renderings of the Construction Project and is excited about the improvement to his neighborhood. X. Adjournment The meeting was adjourned at 2:35 PM.
