Call to Order The Mayor and members of the Council met at City Hall at 11:00 A.M., on the above date, same being an adjourned meeting from a regular meeting held on July 10, 2018 at 1:30 P.M. Present: Mayor Billy Hewes, General Counsel Hugh Keating, Councilmembers: Kenneth Casey, Ron Roland, Ella Holmes-Hines, Rusty Walker, R.Lee Flowers, and Cara Pucheu. Absent: Councilmember Myles Sharp. The President announced a quorum and called the meeting to order. Declaration of a Special Called Meeting Motion to Declare a Special Called Meeting and to have the meeting notice thereof appended as Exhibit "A" to these minutes, Moved By Ella Holmes-Hines, Seconded by Kenneth Casey Vote: Motion Carried By Unanimous Roll Call Vote Aye: Kenneth Casey, Ron Roland, Ella Holmes-Hines, Rusty Walker, R.Lee Flowers, Cara Pucheu Absent: Myles Sharp Executive Session 1 Update - on Economic Development Projects. General Counsel advised that there was a need to enter Executive Session to discuss Economic Development Issues of a proprietary nature relative to the Centennial Plaza Project, Markham, and the gaming site at the Harbor. Upon hearing from Counsel, Motion to enter Executive Session at 11:11 A.M., Moved By Ella Holmes-Hines, Seconded by Kenneth Casey Vote: Motion Carried By Unanimous Roll Call Vote Aye: Kenneth Casey, Ron Roland, Ella Holmes-Hines, Rusty Walker, R.Lee Flowers, Cara Pucheu Absent: Myles Sharp Gulfport City Council Official Minutes July 17, 2018 The Council entered Executive Session at 11:12 A.M. In attendance: Members of the Council: Kenneth Casey, Ron Roland, Ella Holmes-Hines, Rusty Walker, R.Lee Flowers (out at 11:53 A.M.), and Cara Pucheu, Mayor Billy Hewes, General Counsel Hugh Keating, CAO Dr. John R. Kelly, City Attorney Jeff Bruni, Assistant City Attorney Margaret Murdock, Director of Urban Development Greg Pietrangelo, Director of Economic Development David Parker, Public Information Officer/Communications Manager Chris Vignes, GRC Commissioner Carole Lynn Meadows, GRC Commissioner Don Halle (out at 11:56 A.M.), GRC Commissioner Don Mason, GRC Commissioner Sal Domino, GRC Attorney Steve Hendrix, Wayne Tisdale, Rob Lubin, Cono Carranna, John Stewart, Greg Stewart, and Clerk of Council Brittany Rodgers.
