Hillside Community Relations Commission Meeting Agenda for July 23, 2026 (Meeting location is the Village Boardroom -every 4th Thursday of the month, w/select exceptions)  Welcome/updates!  Ideas for 2027 Silver Jubilee! o Suggestions: create special giveaway item for 25 th celebration o New category: State of the Dream for special guest to comment  Need 2027 Theme for event and essays o Wake Up from the Dream! o Carrying the Torch Forward o Past Dream, Tommorrow’s Promise o Breaking Barriers 2027!  Review 2026 Events and possibly assign coordinator to track progress. o Sports Outing - Dennis - move to 2027 o Back to School Event (Aug. 15th) Update: Back Packs to provided by a Not-for-Profit Organization Finalize: food: Pizza, water, Popcorn, snow cone? Tables: Police-Fire-Library?-Back Packs, DJ B-Low Updates: Jessica Busse New Business Next Meeting scheduled for Aug. 27th at 7 pm (Public Comments: Visitors can request to speak before the Commission at any posted meeting date. Speaker will be asked to identify themselves by name and address before presenting any ideas or issues they would like to discuss. Comments are limited to 3 min. per person. Public comments limited to 15 min. total per meeting.)
