Presenter: Othon Mora, Community Development Director Recommended Action: Approve Urgency Ordinance No. 835, AN URGENCY ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IMPERIAL EXTENDING INTERIM URGENCY ORDINANCE NO. 834 ESTABLISHING A TEMPORARY MORATORIUM ON APPROVAL, ESTABLISHMENT, OR OPERATION OF CERTAIN HIGH-ENERGY INDUSTRIAL, TECHNOLOGY, AND UTILITY- SUPPORTING USES WITHIN THE CITY OF IMPERIAL PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 65858 and extending Interim Urgency Ordinance No. 834 for an additional ten (10) months and fifteen (15) days pursuant to California Government Code Section 65858, while the City studies potential zoning regulations and development standards.
