Complete a card with your full name and address and hand it to staff before you approach the podium.) 1) To discuss a city sales tax, to initiate contact with the Parks & Recreation Board to discuss future use of a city sales tax, and to consider an amendment to Ordinance 25.5. 2) To consider recommending approval of the request from the University of Jamestown for a permit to conduct a courtyard dance, with no alcoholic beverages, on Saturday, August 22, 2026, on Allen Field located on the University of Jamestown campus. 3) To consider the request from Jamestown Frontier Attractions to create a reserve fund for unused Public Building Site money allocated to the Frontier Village for future use at the Frontier Village. 4) To consider recommending approval of the selection of Professional Real Estate Brokerage Services for the marketing and sale of City-owned surplus properties. 5) To consider the date for a public hearing concerning the proposed budget for the City General and Special Funds for the fiscal period January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027, to be held on September 8, 2026. 6) Presentation by Jamestown Parks & Recreation District Director Amy Walters. 7) INFORMATIONAL: The appointment applications for the Planning Commission will be considered at the August 3, 2026, City Council meeting.
