Under Phase 5, all sectors of the economy can resume at regular capacity with new safety guidelines and procedures. In compliance with Center for Disease Control (CDC), it is recommended that any individual appearing in person wear a face-covering to cover their nose and mouth. Citizens who are unable to attend the meeting can email comments in advance of the meeting to publiccomment@joliet.gov. ROLL CALL Present Chairperson Quinn Adamowski, Erick Deshaun Dorris, Megan Millen and Sue Regis APPROVAL OF MINUTES A motion was made by Millen, seconded by Dorris, that the March 10, 2021 meeting minutes be approved. The motion carried unanimously. NEW BUSINESS Discussion: Procedures for Non-Voting Members of Subcommittees The subcommittee discussed the status of non voting members and challenges to adding new non voting members without virtual participation. Discussion: Recommendations for Mayoral Appointment to Joliet Arts Commission The subcommittee discusses the reappointment of most of the group and the two new appointments that will be sent to the Mayor's office. PUBLIC COMMENT None. ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Dorris, seconded by Regis, that the August 11, 2021 meeting be adjourned. The motion carried unanimously.
