Brian McDaniel with the Red Cross gave a brief explanation of the Red Cross's coordinated response efforts due to the fire at Riverwalk Homes. Mayor O'Dekirk thanked Mr. McDaniel and the Red Cross for all their efforts. Peter Holsten, President of Holsten Management Corporation, gave a brief report concerning damage from the fire and the return of residents to River Walk Homes. A brief discussion was held regarding the enforcement of the current rental program and the lack of staffing and current number of units. Councilwoman Quillman affirmed this item is a policy change and expressed it is needed to protect renters. Councilman Mudron discussed the need for a good business plan and budget .
