throughout the downtown area.

Dr. Glenda Wright-McCullum spoke regarding a resident of Joshua Arms who is turning 105
years old.
Marge Franchini spoke regarding asylum seekers.
Mayor D'Arcy gave a statement concerning the grant submitted by Joliet Township.
MAYOR AND COUNCIL COMMENTS:
Councilman Clement spoke regarding the Joliet Township grant.
Councilman Guerrero spoke regarding Council Memo #514-23: Ordinance Amending Chapter
31 of the Code of Ordinances in Regards to Water & Sewer Rates, Connection Fees, and
Miscellaneous Fees - 2023.
Councilman Hug spoke regarding the Joliet Township grant.
Mayor D'Arcy spoke regarding the Joliet Township grant. A brief discussion was held
regarding the grant.
Councilwoman Ibarra spoke regarding the grant and the unauthorized use of the City seals .
She highlighted a grant presentation to Fairmont Community Partners and a grant from
Including You to the Rock & Roll Museum. Councilwoman Ibarra requested the HR Manager
update the Council on her progress of filling position vacancies at the next meeting. She
wished her mom a happy birthday and expressed her trust in the Mayor's leadership .
Councilman Mudron highlighted the Firefighter of the Year Award ceremony and concurred
with the Mayor's comments concerning the Joliet Township grant.
Councilwoman Quillman congratulated the Fire Department for a job well done. She
concurred with Ms. McGrath concerning the Joliet Township Grant.
Councilwoman Quillman had Holsten Group and Riverwalk resident Ms. Hamilton meet

concerning the condition of her apartment.
Per Councilwoman Quillman's request, Interim Corporation Counsel gave a brief explanation
of the authority of the Joliet Township.
Councilwoman Reardon spoke in opposition of the Joliet Township Grant. She also
highlighted the Firefighter of the Year Award and wished her mother a happy birthday.
Councilman Hug gave a brief personnel statement regarding the his mother-in-law.
