Jim Lanham thanked the officers involved in locating a missing young woman. He also spoke
concerning dangerous people and human trafficking.
Delilah Lagreht informed the Council she was available to discuss the valuation of any of the
warehouses located Jackson Township.
Luther Johnson thanked the Council for their approval on COUNCIL MEMO #634-23:

Bob Cobb spoke regarding snow removal.
Julia Alexander thanked the Council for working together and highlighted Including You's July
20, 2024 Festival.
Lester Morris spoke in opposition of industrial parks.
Kathy Garthus wished everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and thanked everyone for their
concern for her.
A resident spoke regarding bringing everyone together for the betterment of the City .

Councilman Guerrero wished Mr. Johnson the best with his museum at the Casseday House.
He highlighted Veteran's Day events, the Sator Sanchez event, November as Native
American Heritage Month, and wished everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.
Councilman Hug thanked Mr. Johnson for making history in Will County. He addressed his
"no" vote on the budget due to the number of new positions and how he would like to get
rebates of the city's portion of taxes back to Joliet homeowners. He wished everyone a Happy
Thanksgiving.
Councilwoman Ibarra highlighted the JJC National Day of Mourning, Little Miss Black Joliet
Pageant, and Joliet Slammers Open House. She thanked the residents of District 5 and
expressed her appreciation to the Joliet Fire Department for assisting her with a carbon
monoxide detector at her residence.
Councilman Mudron wished everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and thanked Interm City
Manager Rod Tonelli, Finance Director Kevin Sing, and all the Department Heads for their
work on the 2024 budget.
In response to Councilwoman Quillman's question, Director of Public Utilities Allison Swisher
explained the water main replacement project on Caton Farm is nearing completion.
Councilwoman Quillman briefly discussed parking meter signage and wished everyone a
Happy Thanksgiving.
Councilwoman Reardon wished everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.
Mayor D'Arcy highlighted a new LiDAR camera system to help police the roads, air quality of
our community, fining vape shops for underage sales, Light Up the Holidays, Old Joliet Prison
listed in the National Register Historical Places. He congratulated Mr. Johnson on his
museum project. He wished everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and asked everyone to help the
less fortunate.
