The City Manager noted that Officers Joshua Battung and Jamere Price were recognized at the Joliet Township High School District 204 Athletic Boosters Night of Champions for their work in the School Resource Officer Program and extended congratulations. The City Manager announced that the City would host two public presentations led by Urban 3 on the relationship between community growth, development patterns, and municipal finances, sharing findings from the recent Urban3 economic analysis, with one presentation at Harrah’s Casino and one at Billie Limacher Bicentennial Park, and encouraged public attendance. MAYOR AND COUNCIL COMMENTS: Councilman Cardenas congratulated Ann Sylvester on the first workout event at the City Square. Councilman Clement congratulated Councilman Moreno on his marriage and welcomed Acting Police Chief Rob Brown. Councilman Hug congratulated Councilman Moreno on his marriage.
