Turk Pat Mudron Sherri Reardon Finance Committee Meeting Minutes - Final January 19, 2021 Page 1 of 1 Finance Committee Meeting Minutes - Final January 19, 2021 The Governor’s Office and the Illinois Department of Public Health activated a Tier 3 mitigation plan for all regions of the State of Illinois, effective Friday, November 20, 2020. In an effort to support these mitigation measures, the City of Joliet is limiting in person attendance in the council chambers to 10 people. During meetings, groups of 10 people will be staged in various locations within city hall. These groups will wait in areas with a live feed to the meeting until the Citizens to Be Heard on Agenda items section, the Public Hearing has commenced or the Public Comments section of the meeting has commenced. Speakers will be rotated into Council Chambers to allow everyone an opportunity to speak. Pursuant to the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity’s Guidelines, it is recommended that any individual appearing in-person wear a face-covering to cover their nose and mouth. Citizens who are unable to attend the meeting can email comments in advance of the meeting to publiccomment@joliet.gov OR register “To Be Called To Speak”. Turk, Pat Mudron and Sherri Reardon APPROVAL OF MINUTES A motion was made by Pat Mudron, seconded by Sherri Reardon, to approve the November 2020 and December 2020 Finance Committee Meeting Minutes. Mr. Ghedotte answered and gave a brief review of the Emergency Repair for the City Owned Building at 141 East Jefferson Street. Brief discussion held. A motion was made by Sherri Reardon, seconded by Pat Mudron, to recommend to full Council the Approval of Payments for Emergency Repair for the City Owned Building at 141 East Jefferson Street. A motion was made by Sherri Reardon, seconded by Pat Mudron, to approve the Travel Report. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: Turk, Mudron and Reardon TMP-0830 Attachments: Travel 12-2020 council INVOICES PAID REPORT Mr. Ghedotte briefly reviewed the Invoices Paid Report. Brief discussion held. TMP-0831 Attachments: 2020-12 Invoices Paid NEW OR OLD BUSINESS, NOT FOR FINAL ACTION OR RECOMMENDATION Mr. Ghedotte reviewed brief financial matters regarding the baseball stadium. City Clerk Christa Desiderio made a brief appearance to clarify a City Council Meeting agena item regarding the same topic. PUBLIC COMMENT None.
