Under Phase 5, all sectors of the economy can resume at regular capacity with new safety guidelines and procedures. Pursuant to the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity’s Guidelines, it is recommended that any individual appearing in-person who is not fully vaccinated wear a face-covering to cover their nose and mouth. Citizens who are unable to attend the meeting can email comments in advance of the meeting to publiccomment@joliet.gov. ROLL CALL ALSO PRESENT: Director of Finance James Ghedotte, Benefits/Risk Management Administrator for Human Resources Armando DeAvila and Senior Executive Vice President from Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. Present Pat Mudron, Sherri Reardon and Cesar Guerrero APPROVAL OF MINUTES A motion was made by Sherri Reardon, seconded by Cesar Guerrero, to approve the minutes from the June 2021 Finance Committee meeting. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: Mudron, Reardon and Guerrero TMP-2086 Attachments: June 2021 Draft Minutes CITIZENS TO BE HEARD ON AGENDA ITEMS None. AUTHORIZATION TO APPROVE THE PROPOSED RENEWAL OF PROPERTY AND CASUALTY COVERAGES Senior Executive Vice President Rich Stokluska from Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. presented the proposed renewal of property and casualty coverages. Discussion held. A motion was made by Sherri Reardon, seconded by Cesar Guerrero, to recommend for approval to full Council the Authorization to Approve the Proposed Renewal of Property and Casualty Coverages. TMP-2087 Attachments: 2021-06 Invoices Paid NEW OR OLD BUSINESS, NOT FOR FINAL ACTION OR RECOMMENDATION PUBLIC COMMENT CLOSED SESSION - If required; to discuss personnel, collective bargaining, land acquisition or conveyance and pending or threatened litigation after which the meeting will be adjourned. ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Cesar Guerrero, seconded by Sherri Reardon, to adjourn.
