ALSO PRESENT: James Ghedotte - Director of Finance, Armando De Avila - Risk
Management, Allison Swisher - Director of Public Utilities, Dave Naumann - Burns &
McDonnell and Amy Broughton - Stantec
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

A motion was made by Councilman Cesar Guerrero, seconded by
Councilwoman Sherri Reardon, to approve the Minutes for the May 17, 2022
Finance Committee Meeting.
The motion was carried by the following vote:
Aye: Councilman Mudron, Councilwoman Reardon and Councilman
Guerrero
PRESENTATIONS:
Allison Swisher, Director of Public Utilities, Dave Naumann of Burns & McDonnell and Amy
Broughton of Stantec.
Dave Naumann of Burns & McDonnell gave a presentation on the Water and
Sewer Rate Study. Brief discussion was held.
Amy Broughton of Stantec, presented a financial update on the Alternative
Water Source Program. Brief discussion held.

2021 Annual Treasurer’s Report

James Ghedotte, Director of Finance briefly discussed the 2021 Annual
Treasurers Report and asked for motion to be recommended to go to full
Council for approval and to be placed on file.
A motion was made by Councilwoman Sherri Reardon, and seconded by

Councilman Cesar Guerrero, to approve the 2021 Annual Treasurers Report to
go to full Council for approval..
The motion was carried by the following vote:
Aye: Councilman Mudron, Councilwoman Reardon and Councilman
Guerrero
Ordinance Amending the 2022 Annual Budget for a Phase I Engineering Study
for US Route 6 (Houbolt Road - I-55) in the Amount of $602,667.00
Attachments: Route 6 IGA Budget Amendment Resolution
Mr. Ghedotte briefly discussed the budget amendment in the first phase of the
Engineering Study for US Route 6, and recommended it to go to full Council for
approval.
A motion was made by Councilwoman Sherri Reardon, and seconded by
Councilman Cesar Guerrero, to approve the 2021 Annual Treasurers Report to
go to full Council for approval.
The motion was carried by the following vote:
Aye: Councilman Mudron, Councilwoman Reardon and Councilman
Guerrero
AUTHORIZATION TO APPROVE THE PROPOSED RENEWAL OF
WORKERS’ COMPENSATION BROKER
Armando De Avila - Risk Management, briefly discussed the new rate for the
proposed renewal of Workers' Compensation.

Financial Report. Discussion held.
