APPROVAL OF MINUTES: No Motion made for Approval of Minutes for April 18, 2023 due to the reorganization of new Council members. Approval for April 18, 2023 Minutes is set for June 20, 2023 during the next Finance Committee meeting. Attachments: April 2023 Minutes CITIZENS TO BE HEARD ON AGENDA ITEMS: None. AGENDA ITEMS: Authorization to Award Contract for Comprehensive Benefit TMP-5751 Consulting/Broker Services Armando De Avila - Risk Management, gave a brief explanation of TMP-5751 regarding the Authorization to award contract for comprehensive benefit consulting/broker services. A brief discussion was held. A motion was made by Councilwoman Jan Hallums Quillman, seconded by Councilman Larry Hug to award the contract for Comprehensive Benefit Consulting/Broker Services. The motion was carried by the following vote: Aye: Councilman Mudron, Councilman Hug and Councilwoman Hallums Quillman Ordinance Amending the 2023 Annual Budget for the City of TMP-5769 Joliet (Quarterly Newsletters). Attachments: Budget Amending Ordinance 2023 Kevin Sing - Director of Finance, presented TMP-5769 on the Ordinance Amending the 2023 Budget for the Quarterly Newsletters. A brief discussion was held to include funding in the budget for the Quarterly Newsletters. The motion was carried by the following vote: Aye: Councilman Mudron, Councilman Hug and Councilwoman Hallums Quillman REPORTS: TMP-5766 Attachments: April 2023 Monthly Financial Report April 2023 Invoice Exceptions Rialto Square Theatre - Quarterly Report Mr. Sing, gave a brief overview of TMP-5766 regarding the April 2023 Monthly Financial Report, the April 2023 Invoice Exceptions Report and the Quarterly Report for the Railto Square Theatre. A brief discussion was held regarding the monthly financial report and to add financials to the quarterly reports for the Joliet Museum, Joliet Library and the Railto Square Theatre. TMP-5767 Attachments: Travel 04.23 Mr. Sing gave a brief overview of TMP-5767 for the April 2023 Travel Expense Report. No discussion was held. TMP-5768 Attachments: Personnel Summary Report - May 2023 Mr. De Avila, gave a brief overview of TMP-5768 on the May 2023 Personnel Summary Report, regarding the employment positions currently open within the City of Joliet. A brief discussion held. A motion was made by Councilman Larry Hug, seconded by Councilwoman Jan Hallums Quillman to send the Monthly Financial Reports, the Travel Expense Report and the Personnel Summary Report to the full Council, with Committee recommendation to accept and approve. The motion was carried by the following vote: Aye: Councilman Mudron, Councilman Hug and Councilwoman Hallums Quillman NEW OR OLD BUSINESS, NOT FOR FINAL ACTION OR RECOMMENDATION: None.
