APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Attachments: April 2023 Minutes May 2023 Minutes A motion was made by Councilman Larry Hug, seconded by Councilwoman Jan Hallums Quillman, to approve the Minutes for April 2023 as recorded, and to approve the Minutes for May 2023. The motion was carried by the following vote: Aye: Councilman Mudron, Councilman Hug and Councilwoman Hallums Quillman CITIZENS TO BE HEARD ON AGENDA ITEMS: None. AGENDA ITEMS: Amendment No. 1 for the Professional Services Agreement for TMP-5946 the 2022 Comprehensive Water and Sewer Rate Study to Burns & McDonnell in the amount of $60,660.00. Attachments: Rate Study Amendment #1 Kevin Sing - Director of Finance, presented on behalf of Allison Swisher - Director of Utilities; in her absence, regarding TMP-5946 on the Amendment for the Professional Services Agreement for the 2022 Comprehensive Water and Sewer Rate Study to Burns & McDonnell, and recommended the amendment to move forward to full council for approval. No further discussion was held. A motion was made by Councilwoman Jan Hallums Quillman, seconded by Councilman Larry E. Hug, to approve TMP-5946: Amendment No. 1 for the Professional Services Agreement for the 2022 Comprehensive Water and Sewer Rate Study to Burns & McDonnell in the amount of $60,660.00. Page 1 of 4 Finance Committee Meeting Minutes - Pending Approval June 20, 2023 The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: Councilman Mudron, Councilman Hug and Councilwoman Hallums Quillman Authorization to Remit the Remaining 2023 Operating Subsidy TMP-5869 for the Joliet Area Historical Museum Mr. Sing introduced Greg Peerbolte from JAHM (Joliet Area Historic Museum), and gave a brief explanation of TMP-5869 regarding the Authorization to Remit the Remaining 2023 Operating Subsidy for the Joliet Historic Area Museum. Brief discussion was held. A motion was made by Councilwoman Jan Hallums Quillman, seconded by Councilman Pat Mudron, to approve #TMP-5869: Authorization to Remit the Remaining 2023 Operating Subsidy for the Joliet Area Historical Museum. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: Councilman Mudron and Councilwoman Hallums Quillman Nay: Councilman Hug Electric Supply Action and authorization to select low bider TMP-5871 Attachments: Electric Supply overview Mr. Sing gave a brief explanation of TMP-5871 regarding the Electric Supply Auction and Authorization to select a Low Bidder, and recommended the Finance Committee to move the item forward to full council for approval. A brief discussion was held with further discussion pending for the July Finance Committee meeting, tentatively set for an earlier start time on that day. Hug, to accept TMP-5949: Monthly Financial Report - May 2023 The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: Councilman Mudron, Councilman Hug and Councilwoman Hallums Quillman TMP-5950 Attachments: Travel 05.23 Mr. Sing gave an overview of TMP-5950 for the May 2023 Travel Expense Report A brief discussion was held.
