Hug and Councilwoman Jan Hallums Quillman Absent Councilman Pat Mudron ALSO PRESENT: Kevin Sing - Director of Finance and Armando De Avila - Risk Management APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Attachments: December 2023 Minutes Minutes for December 19, 2023 are set to be approved at the next Finance Committee Meeting. No action was taken to approve minutes at this time. CITIZENS TO BE HEARD ON AGENDA ITEMS: None. REPORTS: TMP-6926 Attachments: 2023-12 Monthly Finance Committee Report 2023-12 Invoice Exceptions Kevin Sing, Director of Finance - gave an overview of TMP-6926 for the Monthly Financial Report, Invoice Exceptions. A physical copy of the Quarterly Report for the Rialto Square Theatre was submitted to the committee for review. A brief discussion was held. A motion was made by Councilman Larry E. Hug, seconded by Councilwoman Jan Hallums Quillman, to approve TMP-6926, for the Monthly Financial Report. The motion was carried by the following vote: Aye: Councilman Hug and Councilwoman Hallums Quillman Absent: Councilman Mudron TMP-6927 Attachments: Travel 12.23 Mr. Sing, presented TMP-6927, Travel Expense Report. Hug, seconded by Councilwoman Jan Hallums Quillman, to approve TMP-6927, for the Travel Expense Report. The motion was carried by the following vote: Aye: Councilman Hug and Councilwoman Hallums Quillman Absent: Councilman Mudron TMP-6928 Attachments: Personnel Summary Report - January 2024 Armando De Avila, Risk Management - presented TMP-6928 regarding the Personnel Summary Report regarding positions currently open within the City of Joliet and the Local 440 Union. A brief discussion was held. A motion was made by Councilman Larry E. Hug, seconded by Councilwoman Jan Hallums Quillman, to approve TMP-6928, for the Personnel Summary Report. The motion was carried by the following vote: Aye: Councilman Hug and Councilwoman Hallums Quillman Absent: Councilman Mudron NEW OR OLD BUSINESS, NOT FOR FINAL ACTION OR RECOMMENDATION: New Business - Mr. Sing mentioned the Library is expecting to receive the remainder of their grant soon. Once the check is received, an ordinance will be submitted to the Finance Committee and the Full Council to approve so the Library will be able to pay off the bonds . A brief discussion was held regarding the grant for the Joliet Area Historic Museum (JAHM). PUBLIC COMMENTS: None. ADJOURNMENT: A motion was made by Councilman Larry E.
