Hug and Councilwoman Jan Hallums Quillman ALSO PRESENT: Kevin Sing - Director of Finance, Armando De Avila - Risk Management and Christa Desiderio - Deputy City Manager APPROVAL OF MINUTES: TMP-7179 Attachments: March 2024 Minutes A motion was made by Councilwoman Jan Hallums Quillman, seconded by Councilman Pat Mudron, to approve the Minutes for March 19, 2024. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: Councilman Mudron, Councilman Hug and Councilwoman Hallums Quillman CITIZENS TO BE HEARD ON AGENDA ITEMS: None. REPORTS: TMP-7180 Attachments: March 2024 Monthly Financial Report 2024-03 Exceptions JPL - Quarterly Report - April 2024 Kevin Sing, Director of Finance - gave an overview of TMP-7180 for the Monthly Financial Report, Invoice Exceptions and the Joliet Public Library Quarterly Report. A brief discussion was held. TMP-7181 Attachments: Travel 03.24 Mr. Sing, presented TMP-7181, for the March 2024 Travel Expense Report. No further discussion was held. TMP-7182 Attachments: Personnel Summary Report - April 2024 Armando De Avila - Risk Management, presented TMP-7182 regarding Page 1 of 2 Finance Committee Meeting Minutes - Pending Approval April 16, 2024 employment positions currently open within the City of Joliet and the Local 440 Union. A brief discussion was held regarding employment for the position of Public Safety Dispatcher for the 911 Center. A brief discussion was held. NEW OR OLD BUSINESS, NOT FOR FINAL ACTION OR RECOMMENDATION: Kathy Franson, Director of Human Resource - briefly mentioned as New Business, regarding the position vacancy memo for a Utilities Clerk position, concerning funding. Mr. Sing mentioned that no monetary budget amendment will be needed for the position vacancy, as the funding for the position already exists within the budget. Mr. Sing also mentioned; for New Business, that the IGA (Intergovernmental Agreement) donation sponsorship for the Joliet Park District for the Taste of Joliet, that will be presented to full council. PUBLIC COMMENTS: None. ADJOURNMENT: A motion was made by Councilman Larry E. Hug, seconded by Councilwoman Jan Hallums Quillman, to adjourn.
