APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Attachments: June 2024 Minutes A motion was made by Councilwoman Sherri Reardon, seconded by Councilman Pat Mudron, to approve the Minutes for June 18, 2024. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: Councilman Mudron and Councilwoman Reardon Absent: Councilman Hug CITIZENS TO BE HEARD ON AGENDA ITEMS: None. AGENDA ITEMS: Authorization to Approve the Proposed Renewal of Property and TMP-7517 Casualty Coverage’s Attachments: 2024-25 Finance Committee WC PC Renewal Armando De Avila - Risk Management, introduced Rich Stokluska of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., to present TMP-7517 regarding the Authorization to Approve the Proposed Renewal of Property and Casualty Coverages. A brief discussion was held. A motion was made by Councilwoman Sherri Reardon, seconded by Councilman Pat Mudron, to approve the Authorization to Approve the Proposed Renewal of Property and Casualty Coverage's. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: Councilman Mudron and Councilwoman Reardon Page 1 of 3 Finance Committee Meeting Minutes - Pending Approval July 16, 2024 Absent: Councilman Hug REPORTS: TMP-7497 Attachments: June 2024 Monthly Financial Report 2024-06 Exceptions JPL Quarterly Report - July 2024 Kevin Sing - Director of Finance, gave an overview of TMP-7497 for the Monthly Financial Report, Invoice Exceptions and the Quarterly Report for the Joliet Public Library. A brief discussion was held. TMP-7498 Attachments: Travel 06.24 Mr. Sing gave an overview of TMP-7498 for Travel Expense Report. No further discussion held. TMP-7499 Attachments: Personnel Summary Report - July 2024 Mr. De Avila gave an overview of TMP-7499 regarding employment opportunities currently open within the City of Joliet and the Local 440 Union. No further discussion was held. A motion was made by Councilwoman Sherri Reardon, seconded by Councilman Pat Mudron, to approve all monthly reports for TMP-7497, TMP-7498 and TMP-7499. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: Councilman Mudron and Councilwoman Reardon Absent: Councilman Hug NEW OR OLD BUSINESS, NOT FOR FINAL ACTION OR RECOMMENDATION: Old business - Councilman Mudron inquired on an update regarding contractors who had inquired about the status of some of their invoices. Mr. Sing advised that ACH and Direct Deposit payments are being rolled out to those contractors as opposed to mailing checks . A brief discussion was held. PUBLIC COMMENTS: None.
