Ordinance Approving a $3,500,000 Loan Agreement with the TMP-8044 Joliet Public Library Attachments: Library Loan Ordinance Library Loan Agreement Mr. Sing presented TMP-8044 regarding the Ordinance Approving a Page 2 of 4 Finance Committee Meeting Minutes - Pending Approval December 17, 2024 $3,500,000Loan Agreement with the Joliet Public Library. Megan Millen from the Joliet Public Library, gave a brief comment regarding monies they currently have in their budget; however they greatly appreciate the assistance they receive from the City of Joliet. A brief discussion was held. Approve Health Benefit Plan Options Offered to All Retirees TMP-8053 Mr. Sing presented TMP-8053 to Approve Health Benefit Plan Options Offered to All Retirees. A brief discussion was held. A motion was made by Councilwoman Sherri Reardon, seconded by Councilman Pat Mudron, to approve and move to the full council, TMP-7997, TMP-7998, TMP-7999, TMP-8000, TMP-8001, TMP-8044 and TMP-8053. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: Councilman Mudron and Councilwoman Reardon Absent: Councilman Hug REPORTS: TMP-7957 Attachments: 2024-11 Exceptions November 2024 Monthly Financial Report Mr. Sing presented TMP-7957 on the November Monthly Financial Report, Exceptions Report and the Quarterly Report for the Joliet Area Historical Museum (JAHM). No further discussion was held. TMP-7958 Attachments: Travel 11.24 Mr. Sing presented TMP-7958 on the Travel Expense. No further discussion was held. TMP-7959 Attachments: Personnel Summary Report - December 2024 Armando De Avila - Risk Management, presented TMP-7959 on the December Personnel Summary Report for employment opportunities within the City of Joliet and the Local 440 Union. Councilwoman Reardon and Mr. Sing made mention on the upcoming Retirement of the City Budget Officer; Jim Ghedotte, and how he and his financial expertise here with the City will be greatly missed.
