In an effort to support these mitigation measures, the City of Joliet is limiting in person attendance in the council chambers to 10 people. During meetings, groups of 10 people will be staged in various locations within city hall. These groups will wait in areas with a live feed to the meeting until the Citizens to Be Heard on Agenda items section, the Public Hearing has commenced or the Public Comments section of the meeting has commenced. Speakers will be rotated into Council Chambers to allow everyone an opportunity to speak. Pursuant to the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity’s Guidelines, it is recommended that any individual appearing in-person wear a face-covering to cover their nose and mouth. Citizens who are unable to attend the meeting can email comments in advance of the meeting to publiccomment@joliet.gov OR register “To Be Called To Speak”. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: Dillon, Kella, Cox, Crompton, Roehr, Rousonelos and Perez Absent: Moore CITIZENS TO BE HEARD ON AGENDA ITEMS None. M-1-21: ADDITIONAL HOUSE PLANS FOR GREYWALL CLUB SUBDIVISION. TMP-0817 Attachments: M-1-21 Greywall Club Additional House Plans_Combined Staff Report Ms. Bernhard gave the Planning Staff Report. Mr. Richard Murphy, Lennar Homes, appeared on behalf of the petition. Mr. Murphy gave further background information about the petition. Mr. Murphy answered the questions of Chairman Dillon, Commissioner Cox and Commissioner Rousonelos. Ms. Stacy Alvarado, Greywall resident, appeared with concerns about the petition. Mr. Murphy explained the by-laws. Commissioner Roehr spoke about her real estate experience. Ms. Wood appeared with concerns about the petition. Ms. Andrea Brett appeared with concerns about flooding in the area. Mr. Roger Mahia stated concerns about the size of the ranch homes as well as drainage issues. A motion was made by Brigette Roehr, seconded by Roberto Perez, to recommend for approval by the City Council the Additional House Plans for Greywall Club Subdivision. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: Dillon, Kella, Cox, Roehr, Rousonelos and Perez Absent: Moore Abstain: Crompton M-2-21: ADDITIONAL DUPLEX PLANS FOR LAKEWOOD PRAIRIE SUBDIVISION. TMP-0816 Page 2 of 3 Plan Commission Meeting Minutes - Final January 21, 2021 Attachments: M-2-21 Lakewood Prairie Additional House Plans_Combined Staff Report Ms. Bernhard gave the Planning Staff Report. Mr. Patrick Cook, DR Horton, appeared on behalf of the petition. Mr. Cook answered the Commissioners questions. A citizen appeared regarding drainage and flooding issues. Mr. Cook said they intend to start in the north part of the subdivision first and build two homes per month. A motion was made by John Kella, seconded by Brigette Roehr, to recommend for approval by the City Council the Additional House Plans for Lakewood Prairie Subdivision. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: Dillon, Kella, Cox, Roehr, Rousonelos and Perez Absent: Moore Abstain: Crompton NEW OR OLD BUSINESS, NOT FOR FINAL ACTION OR RECOMMENDATION None.
